Job description

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a CMM Programmer on 2nd shift.

Pay: Starting at $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Hours: 3pm-11:30pm

Summary of Position: Performs dimensional analysis of parts using CMM; implements, verifies and provides follow-up to the various day-to-day functions of the established Quality System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs Start-up measurement, first piece inspection and validation of molded parts and assemblies.
  • Performs Gage R&R and Correlation Study inspection and validation of molded parts and assemblies during a process of measurement method development.
  • Calibrate, inspect, measure, and test equipment in order to ensure compliance with published specifications.
  • Prepare reports and certificates gathered during inspection and calibration. Report results using electronic software. (PC-DEMIS, CEBOS/MQ1 & MS Excel etc.)
  • Analyze measurement data, Identify/correct measurement errors, as applicable and note any abnormalities, trends seen.
  • Maintain primary and/or essential calibration standards.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment.
  • Create and maintain work instructions related to part measurement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator) Optical Gauging Product Optical Machine and CMM.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Able to read and interpret Blue Prints.
  • Thorough working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) standards such as those scripted by ISO (International Standards Organization) or ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
  • Understanding of statistical methods in Quality Assurance.

Experience:

Three to five years related experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing. Experience in a fast-paced office environment. Knowledge of Quality Management systems (IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025). Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail.
